How your blanket is made
Upload one clear, front-facing photo. The studio generates an illustrated version in about thirty seconds and shows it to you on the blanket itself, so you can see how the artwork fills the shape before paying anything. If the first pass is not right, generate another. When a version looks like your family, approve it and production begins from that exact file.
The print runs edge to edge across the face of the blanket, with the sherpa lining on the reverse. Because each one is produced from your approved artwork, there is no stock version of this product.
Choosing a size
Four sizes. The right one depends less on the artwork than on how the blanket will actually be used.
30 x 40 inch is a child's blanket or a lap throw. It is the usual choice for a baby gift, a stroller, or a car and travel blanket.
40 x 50 inch suits one adult on a sofa. This is the most ordered size and the safest choice if you are buying as a gift and do not know how it will be used.
50 x 60 inch covers an adult fully and drapes over the end of a bed. Pick this if the recipient is tall or if it will mostly live on a bed rather than a couch.
60 x 80 inch is a bedspread. It covers two people on a sofa and reads as a piece of furniture rather than a throw. It also gives group portraits the most room, so it is worth considering when the artwork includes several faces and pets.
Larger sizes hold detail better simply because the artwork is reproduced across more surface. If your photo has five or more subjects, size up.

Questions people ask first
Can I use a photo from my phone? Yes, and most orders are. Faces need to be lit reasonably evenly and close enough to the camera to be recognisable. Strong backlighting and photographs taken from far away are the two things that cause trouble.
What if the first preview is not right? Generate another. You have several free attempts, and nothing is charged until you approve a version.
Is the print on both sides? The artwork is printed across the face of the blanket. The reverse carries the sherpa lining, which is what makes it warm.
Can I order the same artwork on something else? Yes. Once a preview is approved you can add a canvas print, pillow, acrylic plaque or night light with the same design and order them together.
