How your pillow is made
Start by uploading one clear, front-facing photo. The studio generates an illustrated version in about thirty seconds and shows you the result on the pillow itself, so you can judge how the faces sit inside the shape before spending anything. If the first attempt misses, generate another. Only when a version looks like your family do you approve it and continue to checkout.
Every cover is then printed to order from that approved file. Because the artwork is yours, no two pillows leaving the studio are alike.
Choosing between the two sizes
Both sizes carry the same print on the front and the back, so the portrait reads from either side of a sofa.
20 x 40 cm is a lumbar cushion. It suits an armchair, a reading corner or a bed, and it is the size most people choose when the artwork features one or two subjects. It also travels well as a gift because it packs small.
40 x 60 cm is a standard throw cushion. The extra area gives faces more room, which matters when the photo includes three or more people, or a family with pets. If your artwork is busy, choose this one.
If you are unsure, measure a cushion you already live with and compare the numbers rather than judging from a screen.

The printed cover and the pillow insert both come in the box. You do not need to source a filler separately, and the cushion is ready to use the moment it is unpacked.

Questions people ask first
Can I use a photo from my phone? Yes, and most orders are. What matters is that faces are lit reasonably evenly and the subjects are close enough to the camera to be recognisable. Heavy backlighting and group shots taken from far away are the two things that cause trouble.
What if the first preview is not right? Generate another. You have several free attempts, and nothing is charged until you approve a version.
Can I put the same artwork on something else? Yes. Once a preview is approved you can add a canvas print, sherpa blanket, acrylic plaque or night light carrying the same design, and order them together.
How many people can appear? There is no fixed limit, but faces stay clearest at around five subjects or fewer. Pets count toward that number.
